Payment Terms for Linkscope Publishers

How much you earn, when the money is released, and how it reaches you. No listing fees, no minimum payout, and no charge until an order completes.

Payouts run on Net 15 terms, in a weekly batch every Friday. The clock starts when the buyer approves the order, not when you publish it.

Everything below explains that in detail: what starts the clock, what can stop it, and what happens to your money if a buyer raises a claim.

The Payout Timeline

  1. You Deliver the Order

Publish the article or add the link insertion, then submit the live URL in your dashboard. Deliver through the platform, not by email. An order sent by email has no timestamp we can use, so nothing below starts.

  2. The Buyer Approves It

The buyer has 7 days to check the placement. If they say nothing, the order approves itself on day 7.

A revision request pauses the clock. It restarts when you deliver the revision and the buyer approves, or when the new 7 day window ends.

  3. The Clearing Period Runs

Approval starts a 15 day clearing period. This covers the refund window and lets our checks confirm the link is still live.

New publishers: your first 3 orders clear in 30 days instead of 15. It is a standard safeguard against fraud, and it drops away automatically once those orders are approved.

  4. The Payout Is Queued

Once cleared, the amount moves to your available balance and joins the next weekly batch. There is no withdrawal request to submit and no threshold to reach first.

  5. Payment Is Sent

Batches go out every Friday. Arrival time then depends on your method, listed further down.

Worst case from delivery to money sent is about four weeks. Best case, when a buyer approves the same day, is about two and a half weeks. Add 1 to 3 business days on top for the transfer itself.

When an Order Counts as Complete

Publishing is not completion. Approval is. That difference decides when you get paid, so it is worth being precise about.

What the buyer doesWhen the order completes
Approves the placement That day
Says nothing Automatically after 7 days
Requests a revision When the revision is approved, or when the new window ends
Opens a dispute When the dispute closes in your favour

How You Earn

You are paid per order. No monthly retainer, no listing fee, and no charge for keeping a site on the marketplace.

You set the price for every site you list. Linkscope deducts a commission from that price and you receive the rest. Your rate is shown in your dashboard, and the exact payout figure appears on every order before you accept it, so you always know what you are agreeing to.

The commission covers buyer acquisition, payment processing, refund cover and support handling. It comes out of the order value only. It is never charged on top, and never taken from a payout that has already cleared.

Change your price whenever you like. New prices apply to new orders. An order you already accepted stays at the price it was accepted at, even if you raise your rate the next day.

Add-Ons

  • Charge separately for word counts above your listed maximum, rush turnaround or homepage placement. Set these as add-ons so buyers see them before ordering.
  • The same commission applies to add-ons.
  • Guest posts and link insertions are priced separately. Set both, or leave one off if you do not offer it.

Payment Methods

Pick your method in the payout settings of your dashboard. Change it any time, and the change applies from the next batch.

MethodArrival after batchWho pays the fee
PayPal 1 to 3 business days PayPal receiving fee comes out of your payout
Wise 1 to 3 business days Linkscope pays the transfer fee
Payoneer 1 to 3 business days Linkscope pays the transfer fee
Bank transfer 3 to 5 business days Linkscope pays the sending fee, your bank may charge to receive
Crypto (USDT) 1 to 3 business days Linkscope pays the network fee

Keep your payout details accurate. A failed transfer from a wrong email, a closed account or a mistyped wallet returns to your balance and waits for the next batch, and any fee charged on the failed attempt comes out of that balance.

No Minimum Payout

There is no threshold. A single cleared order of any size goes out in the next batch. You never have to build up a balance before you can withdraw.

Currency and Exchange

  • Everything on the platform runs in USD. Listing prices, commission and payouts are all in USD.
  • If you receive in another currency, your provider converts it at their rate on the day. Linkscope does not set that rate and does not add a margin to it.
  • Exchange movement between order date and payout date is not something we adjust for, in either direction.
  • To avoid conversion entirely, use a method that holds USD, such as Wise or Payoneer.

Invoices and Tax

You do not need to send us an invoice. Linkscope generates a self billed invoice for every payout and stores it in your dashboard. Each one lists the orders included, the gross amount, commission deducted and the net paid.

Download them any time from the payouts area. A yearly statement is available at the end of each calendar year for your accountant.

You are responsible for your own taxes. Linkscope does not withhold income tax on your behalf. Linkscope is registered in the United Kingdom under company number 14772530, and payouts to publishers outside the UK are made gross. If you are VAT registered, add your VAT number in your account settings so it appears on your invoices.

Tax rules depend on where you live and how you trade. Nothing on this page is tax advice. Check with an accountant in your own country.

Refunds and Disputes

Buyers can raise a claim within 30 days of an order completing. Most claims are about a link that stopped working, not about the writing.

What Happens to Your Payout

SituationResult
Link removed or changed, and you fix it inside 72 hours Claim closed. Your payout is untouched.
Link removed and not fixed Buyer is refunded. If your payout has not cleared it is cancelled. If it was already paid, the amount comes out of your next payout.
Article deleted, redirected or set to noindex Same as above. Restoring the URL or setting a 301 to the same content closes the claim.
Site lost traffic or dropped in DR after publication No refund and no deduction. You are paid for the placement, not for future performance.
Buyer changed their mind after approving No refund and no deduction.
Order never delivered Full refund to the buyer. No payout.

Where a link can be restored, we ask for a fix before we ask for money back. A replacement placement on the same site also closes a claim if the buyer agrees to it.

The 12 month guarantee sits behind all of this. If a live link comes down before that, whether you removed it or someone else with admin access to the site did, you refund the buyer. The amount comes out of the payout for that order. If the payout has already been sent, it comes out of your next one, and if nothing is due, your account is held until the balance is settled.

How Long a Dispute Takes

  • We contact you within 2 business days of a claim being opened.
  • You have 72 hours to respond with the live URL, a screenshot of the page source, or a fix.
  • We decide within 7 business days of the claim opening.
  • If you disagree, reply within 7 days with new evidence. We check the live page ourselves before any final call.
  • No response from you inside the window means the claim is decided on the buyer's evidence alone.

Payout Holds

A hold applies to the payout attached to one order, not to your whole balance. Your other cleared orders keep paying out on schedule.

We hold a payout when a dispute is open on that order, when an automated check finds the link is no longer live, when payout details fail verification, or when the account is under review for a guideline breach.

Holds are released as soon as the issue closes, and the amount joins the next weekly batch. A held payout is never quietly kept. Either it is released to you, or it is refunded to the buyer with a written reason sent to you.

Payouts are voided outright only in the cases listed on the Publisher Guidelines page, such as publishing prohibited content or selling placements on a site you do not control.

Changes to These Terms

We email active publishers at least 14 days before any change to commission, payout terms or clearing periods. Orders accepted before a change are paid under the terms that applied when you accepted them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum payout amount?

No. Any cleared balance goes out in the next weekly batch, even if it is a single small order.

Why is my payout still pending after the buyer approved?

Approval starts the 15 day clearing period. The amount shows as pending until that ends, then it joins the next Friday batch.

Does Linkscope charge anything to list a site?

No. Listing is free and stays free. The only deduction is commission on completed orders.

Can I be paid in a currency other than USD?

Payouts are sent in USD. Your provider converts on arrival at their own rate. Wise and Payoneer let you hold USD if you would rather not convert.

What happens to my payout if a buyer disputes an order?

That one payout is held while the claim is open. Everything else keeps paying normally. If the link is fixed inside 72 hours, the payout is released untouched.

Do I need to send an invoice?

No. We generate a self billed invoice for every payout and store it in your dashboard.
